Best Lawyers Names Jim Ronca Lawyer Of The Year

Anapol Schwartz partner James Ronca has been named Lawyer of the Year in the 2015 edition of Philadelphia’s Best Lawyers for the category of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Litigation.

Ronca has been recognized for his dedication to defending the rights of the innocent and injured victims since he began practicing law more than 30 years ago.  In 1984, he received the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association’s annual award to its outstanding member, and in 1998 he was awarded the Musmanno Award by the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association for his achievements as an outstanding personal injury lawyer. In 2012, Jim received a distinguished service award from the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

Jim has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career as a Philadelphia personal injury attorney including former President of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and former Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section.

Mr. Ronca has taught more than 350 individual seminars on topics ranging from truck accident lawsuits to pharmaceutical litigation.

Also included in the 2015 Philadelphia edition of Best Lawyers are Sol Weiss and Lawrence Cohan in the category of Mass Tort Litigation and Class Actions. In addition, Weiss was named 2014 Lawyer of the Year in that category and Cohan received that recognition in 2013.
