Anapol Schwartz is pleased to announce that two of our distinguished lawyers have been honored by their inclusion in PA Super Lawyer’s 2014 list of the top 50 Women Lawyers in Pennsylvania.

Partner Miriam Benton Barish and Associate Adrianne Walvoord Webb have been nominated by women lawyers licensed in the state of Pennsylvania and have received enough votes to make the top 50 among hundreds of nominees.

“I am honored to be included among this group of dedicated and talented women. It is truly a privilege to act as an advocate on behalf of our clients.” Barish said about the recognition.

“I am honored to be selected with Miriam Benton Barish,” Webb added.

Miriam was previously selected for inclusion in 2013 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. She serves as a board member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and serves as Judge Pro Tem for the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County. For more than twenty years, Miriam has worked as a personal injury attorney representing clients in premises liability cases, products liability, construction accidents, dram shop, toxic tort litigation and motor vehicle accidents. Among Miriam’s most recent accomplishments is the successful representation of two victims in the Mega Bus Crash in 2010.

Adrianne’s recognitions include 2013 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers recognition, The Legal Intelligencer’s 2013 Lawyers on the Fast Track, and the Above and Beyond Award awarded in 2012 and 2013 by the New Lawyers Division of The American Association for Justice . Adrianne is a member of Anapol Schwartz’s mass tort team. She represents clients regarding dangerous drugs and medical devices including Paxil Birth Defect lawsuits, AlloDerm Tissue Matrix Litigation and Kugel Mesh Litigation. Adrianne has also been instrumental in the negotiations for the “Kids for Cash” Class Action involving juveniles in Luzerne County.
