For more than 40 years, Larry Coben has been going up against companies whose defective products have hurt and killed unsuspecting people.
Larry helped establish and serves as the Chief Legal Officer of the Attorneys Information Exchange Group, a national organization dedicated to sharing information among attorneys to benefit clients harmed by dangerous and defective products. He is also a founding member and the first Chairman of the Institute for Injury Reduction. In these roles, Larry was an invited witness testifying to a Congressional Committee on motor vehicle safety, which led directly to the installation of lap and shoulder belts in the rear seats of all passenger cars.
Larry earned his law degree, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1973. He has represented clients in nearly every state in the U.S. against multi-national corporations marketing defective and unsafe products.
Larry is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Arizona as well as in Federal District Court, before the U.S. Supreme Court and in the majority of the Federal Courts of Appeals. He has tried hundreds of jury trials for consumer victims in state courts across the United States.
Larry serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association as well as the Western Trial Lawyers Association the Attorneys Information Exchange Group. He continues to contribute to the education of future lawyers as an adjunct Professor at the ASU Law School.
