Last week, the Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled almost 5,000 “Range Rider Ride-On Toy Cars” after receiving nine reports of fire and burns. Luckily, no injuries have been caused by this combustible product. These toys have been sold exclusively through the Fingerhut both in their catalog and their website, as well as their partner website, gettington.com. The models in question were sold from September 2010 through May 2012.
During the past 30 days, the CSPC posted recalls of 4 other products for fire related hazards, including burns and explosions. Lucky for concerned parents that this has been the only toy recalled for this specific reason.
