Not quite a year after the 2011 Deadly Allentown gas explosion that killed five people, four people sustain injuries in another Allentown gas explosion. Luckily, there have not been any confirmed fatalities from today's explosion. The four injured people, two utility workers and two residens of the 200 block of North Fulton Street where the explosion occurred, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officials say the explosion was caused by a spark or rupture in an old pipeline while subcontractors working for UGI Utilities, Inc. were replacing a pipeline in the area.
